Director - Dr. Leslie C. Wilson

Dr. Wilson founded Tutor New Orleans on the premise of providing the best, most qualified tutors at an affordable price. She holds a Ph.D. from Tulane University in Quantum Chemistry, an M.S. from McNeese State University, and an M.A. from Cornell University. She currently teaches Chemistry, Physics, and Math classes. During her career as an educator, she has taught Honors Chemistry and Advanced Placement Chemistry, as well as all levels of Math courses through Calculus. In addition to being an esteemed educator and scientist, she has over 20 years of experience as a tutor in New Orleans. Dr. Wilson feels that students should have the opportunity to receive the help they need, so she makes an effort to provide low- or no-cost tutoring to those with financial difficulties.

Administrator - Toni St. Alexisz

In addition to being a business professional, Ms. St. Alexisz is also a Certified Secondary School Teacher and Certified Post-Secondary Instructor. She has 14 years experience working in education. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Public Speaking, and Theatre, and is also certified to teach Language Arts. In addition to these subjects, she has taught English, Business Writing, and various Business courses. Ms. St. Alexisz has specialized training in Speaking Standard English, which helps those who want to lose their local dialect or accent, and become better English speakers and writers.
